Since its foundation in 1980 by Georg Coreth, the Austrian family-owned company has consistently focused on the qualitative and technological development of film packaging products.

The company, located 30 km south of Vienna in Unterwaltersdorf, Lower Austria, continuously invests in the renewal of its infrastructure and machinery.

In the film production hall at Coreth, 11 blown film lines produce around 33,000 tons of film per year in three-shift operation, with exports accounting for more than 50%.

The company currently employs 123 people.

For the top segment of printed packaging, the 8-color high-performance central impression flexographic printing press with its own ink mixing system and double control system in a separate printing hall enables the highest quality printing results.

The Coreth company has been operating its own recycling center on the company premises since 2018. With the processing capacities of the plant, the company not only recycles its own film waste but also offers contract recycling. This means that film residues are fed back into the production cycle and a focus is placed on recycling.

We received the successful recertification of the quality & hygiene standard EN 15593 by Quality Austria in December 2019.

In the fall of 2020, a photovoltaic system was installed on the roof of three production halls. This allows 100 percent of the electricity generated from solar panels to flow directly back into the production cycle. This enables us to not only save on energy costs, but also to reach our goal of reducing CO2 emissions by up to 13 tons per year.

Products and services

“Depending on customer requirements, Coreth develops and manufactures individual film products with special properties, which are available in a wide range of variants depending on the intended use and area of application,” says Managing Director Mag. Stefan Chalupnik.

The product range includes high quality flexo-printing, production of flat films, tubing, pallet covers, bags, construction films and protective films, vapour retarders, stretch tubing, stretch film, adhesive tapes, cuts, and packaging accessories.

In line with today’s ecological requirements, all films are recyclable. The area of “tailor-made” films (also shrink and automatic films) is becoming increasingly important.

The company Coreth also accepts orders for contract printing for all common plastic films and paper packaging.

Strict quality controls and the use of high-quality starting materials, as well as an effective hygiene management system, enable ongoing quality assurance.
