Under the umbrella of the holding company, ÖBB is divided into three operative subsidiaries, ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG, Rail Cargo Austria AG and ÖBB-Instrastruktur AG.

ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG is Austria\'s largest mobility service provider. With over 4,000 trains and 30,000 bus routes available, every day, more than one million passengers choose to travel on our rail and road transport services.

ÖBB-Postbus GmbH is Austria’s largest bus company. It has been part of the ÖBB Group since 2003. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ÖBB-Personenverkehr AG. The business purpose of ÖBB-Postbus GmbH is national and international transport of passengers via regular services as well as occasional transport services.

The Rail Cargo Group is one keyplayer of the ÖBB Group. It is the second largest rail logistic company in Europe and covers an important part of the trail sector. Rail Cargo operates in over 18 different countries.
