The Hafen Wien – Tri-modal logistics centre in the heart of the city: The largest logistics centre in Eastern Austria, the Hafen Wien, is connected to a perfect street, rail and water infrastructure. The Hafen Wien is a company of the City of Vienna and subsidiary of Wien Holding. With an area of 3 million square meters, this logistics centre is the largest freight-transport centre in Austria. And with around 100 companies and up to 5,000 jobs at the site, it is an important employer in the region. With its location on three Ten-T corridors, the Hafen Wien is one of the most important interior hubs in Europe, especially for the large North Sea and Adriatic ports. The Hafen Wien is the largest public Danube port in Austria with its freight ports Freudenau, Albern and Lobau.
