Schoeller-Bleckmann Edelstahlrohr GmbH is part of the globally active Spanish TUBACEX Group and one of the leading European manufacturers of stainless steel tubes. With these special products, SBER supplies various branches of industry (oil and natural gas industry, automotive industry, chemicals, mechanical engineering, etc.) with seamless precision tubes. Annual sales of €120 million are achieved with 370 employees.
Products and services
The product range includes seamless stainless steel tubes from 6mm to 240mm in diameter with lengths of up to 36m. These tubes are used in particularly challenging environmental conditions. These range from heat exchangers to nuclear and automotive applications. So called “Umbilicals” are also produced in Ternitz, in this case special pipes are welded and delivered in coils. But stainless steel tubes from Austria are also used for special applications such as luxury watches.
