Appreciation and employee quality are key for perfect customer orientation
At first glance, facility services company ‘ISS Facility Services’ and collection agency ‘IS Inkasso Service’ do not have a lot in common (apart from the similarity of names). Yet rather than celebrating a 60-year anniversary (ISS) and a 40-year anniversary (IS), both certified Leitbetriebe (leading companies) celebrated their joint 100-year anniversary together at excellence platform Leitbetriebe Austria’s festive event.
This exceptional “combined anniversary” is based on the major parallels in the corporate philosophy. “IS and ISS operate in two completely different sectors, yet they are oriented towards common values as Leitbetriebe”, explains Monica Rintersbacher, Managing Director of Leitbetriebe Austria. “Employee quality and great appreciation for the many employees ‘on the front line’ are the most important requirements for authentic customer orientation and thus sustainable success. The joint celebration should also symbolise that Leitbetriebe are oriented towards the same standards, regardless of their respective business fields.”
